Russia and Belarus urged to establish joint information centers to respond to fakes

Moscow and Minsk need to establish joint information centers to combat and respond to fake information. This was announced on January 15 by Gennady Lepeshko, Chairman of the Standing Committee on National Security of the National Assembly of Belarus, Chairman of the commission on security and defense of the Parliamentary Assemblies of Belarus and Russia.

"It is necessary to create common information centers for rapid response to fakes and coordinated dissemination of truthful information. <...> Active exposure of fakes by government agencies and the media through information and explanatory work," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
