In 2025, 57 themed trains were launched in the Moscow metro. This was announced on Wednesday, January 14, in the metropolitan Department of Transport.

Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry, noted that the trains were dedicated to Russian regions, organizations, socially significant projects and anniversaries, including 24 trains with New Year's decorations. According to him, the purpose of such launches is to make trips not only comfortable, but also interesting for passengers, the Moscow City News agency reports.

It is specified that six trains spoke about the regions — Novgorod, Orel, Tula and Vologda regions, the Republic of Karelia and the Far Eastern Federal District. Some trains were timed to coincide with the anniversaries of organizations (including the 80th anniversary of Rosatom, the 65th anniversary of the Rudn University and the 35th anniversary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations), as well as dedicated to the IFC and emergency medical services, writes Moscow 24.
