The Supreme Court of Slovakia has confirmed the acquittal of a lower court against its former chairman, former Justice Minister Stefan Garabin. He was accused of approving Russia's actions as part of a special operation in Ukraine. This was reported on January 13 by the Slovak newspaper Dennik N.

"The Supreme Court confirmed the acquittal of the Specialized Criminal Court of May 2025," the publication says.
