A teenage motorcyclist is awaiting trial for the death of a pensioner in an accident in the Kama region

A criminal investigation into a teenager who got behind the wheel of his father's motorcycle and killed a pensioner has been completed in the Perm Region. This is reported by the SU TFR in the region.

The hit-and-run occurred on the night of September 28, 2025 in the village of Vilva, Dobryansky district. It was established that a 17-year-old teenager driving his father's motorcycle hit an 85-year-old man. The pedestrian died on the spot from his injuries. The teenager suffered head injuries, classified as serious, writes the news agency " <url>".

The investigation of the criminal case under paragraph "b" of Part 4 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules that negligently caused the death of a person committed by a person who does not have the right to drive a vehicle") has been completed. The materials were submitted to the court for consideration on the merits, the sanction of this article provides for from five to 12 years in prison.

In December, a court in the Chelyabinsk region sentenced a motorist from the city of Asha, who knocked down a 24-year-old girl with her four-year-old son at a crossing, after which he disappeared. The child died as a result of a hit-and-run, and his mother was seriously injured.
