The central office of the Investigative Committee will investigate the death of infants in Novokuznetsk.

The criminal case on the death of newborns in the Novokuznetsk maternity hospital has been assigned to be transferred for investigation to the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia. This was announced on January 13 by the chairman of the department, Alexander Bastrykin.

"On behalf of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, the criminal case initiated by the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kemerovo region — Kuzbass on the death of newborns in the Novokuznetsk maternity hospital has been transferred for further investigation to the central office of the department," the Telegram channel says.
