"Big Number" opened the audience voting

The national voting of the XVII National Award "Big Number" has started. From January 13 to January 31, each viewer can determine the best projects of 2025 by voting for applicants from the official longlist on the award's website. Voting will be a key stage in determining the people's favorites. The Izvestia TV channel also became a participant in the contest.

The Organizing Committee has completed an analysis of a record number of applications — over 250 — and has compiled an expanded list of the most notable projects from leading federal and thematic TV channels, developers of technological solutions for broadcasting, online cinemas, media holdings and independent studios. The long list focuses on the most notable and influential achievements of the television and digital industry.

The award marks a key trend by including AI-powered projects in the competition for the first time. These works, where technology is involved in image generation or plotting, will be evaluated by a separate jury, demonstrating a new approach to recognizing innovation in the industry.

Now the right to determine the main favorites is transferred to the audience. A participant can cast their vote for one nominee in each nomination only once during the entire voting period. The voice of each user is a significant contribution to the victory of projects that have become part of the cultural agenda of the year.

You can vote in the following categories: best online cinema, best TV channel, best original film of your own production, best original series of your own production, best original show of your own production.

In parallel with the audience voting, a professional jury is working, which includes key figures of the media industry: producers, editors-in-chief, media managers and analysts. The experts conduct the assessment based on a set of strict criteria: innovation, depth of concept and quality of execution. The winners will be determined based on the experts' opinion and the audience's sympathies.
