Novokuznetsk doctors tore off the child's arm, the baby did not survive. This was told by the sister of the victim of the negligence of doctors in the maternity hospital No. 1 Novokuznetsk.

According to the girl, her sister was taken to the hospital at the 22nd week of pregnancy due to contractions, the doctors were openly rude to the woman in labor and did not take measures to stop the attempts.

"They ripped the baby out of my sister. And when they pulled out that child, they tore off the girl's arm, and the child died. After that, they wrapped the child in some rags, put her on my sister's chest," the girl said in a video on social networks.

According to her, the doctors told the woman in labor that she did not want this child so much since he was stillborn.

In Yakutia, at the request of the mother, an exhumation of a baby who died 17 years ago was carried out.

On the same day, it became known that obstetric hospital No. 1 of the G.P. Kurbatov City Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Novokuznetsk temporarily stopped receiving patients. It was clarified that this decision was made in connection with the excess incidence of respiratory infection.

Later, it was reported about the death of nine babies in a maternity hospital in Novokuznetsk. The UK later confirmed the deaths of newborns. A criminal case was opened into the incident on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code ("Causing death by negligence"), Part 3 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code ("Negligence").

The Minister of Health of Kuzbass, Andrei Tarasov, confirmed the deaths of infants in a maternity hospital in Novokuznetsk. The governor of Kuzbass, Ilya Seredyuk, in turn, temporarily dismissed the head physician of the hospital in whose maternity hospital the babies died.

The Chairman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, called the incident in the Novokuznetsk maternity hospital a tragedy for the state. She also instructed the senators to closely monitor the progress of the investigation.
