Frozen waterfall falls on tourists in Estonia

In Estonia, an ice block collapsed on tourists at the Valaste waterfall. This was announced on January 12 by the ERR broadcasting company.

"A massive block of ice formed from the frozen water of the waterfall broke off and collapsed in the vicinity of people who came to admire the view," the report says.

The footage shows that people managed to run away and no one was injured. However, one of the women was knocked down by fragments of ice, and she found herself right inside the ice avalanche.

"When Natalia saw us, she started crying—she hoped she could come down."

Earlier, on January 10, it was reported that two skiers died in an avalanche in the Val d'Isere commune in southeastern France. The tourists were found in critical condition and could not be resuscitated.
