Vinogradov predicted a rise in prices for secondary apartments in February

Secondary apartments in Russia in February 2026 will rise in price by 3-5% compared to December 2025, predicted January 12 for "Gazeta.Ru" investor and CEO of Pro-Vision Communications Vladimir Vinogradov.

"In 2025, the average increase in prices for secondary housing was about 4-6%. In my opinion, in January-February 2026, prices may increase by 3-5% compared to the end of 2025, due to continued inflation and demand for housing," Vinogradov said.

According to him, buying a property remains a profitable investment. Housing serves not only for living, but also as an asset that can become more expensive over time. In conditions of inflation, the cost of apartments usually increases faster than rent, which makes the purchase of housing a more profitable strategy, the expert emphasized.

Prices on the "primary" and "secondary" markets will continue to rise, and demand will depend on mortgage rates.
