The maximum pension points can be obtained with a salary of 248 thousand rubles. This was announced on January 12 by Natalia Melnikova, senator, former head of the Social Fund department in the Pskov region.

"The maximum base for calculating insurance premiums for 2026 will be 2 million 979 thousand rubles. <...> To obtain the maximum number of individual pension coefficients [IPC], the salary of citizens should be 248 250 rubles or more per month in 2026," RIA Novosti quoted.

It is noted that a citizen of the Russian Federation can receive no more than ten pension points per year.
