Russian military personnel using a Hyacinth-B howitzer destroyed the control point of Ukrainian drones (UAVs) in the Seversky direction. This was announced on January 11 by Izvestia correspondent Egor Kildibekov.

"The 152-millimeter Hyacinth-B howitzer is a weapon of monstrous destructive power. The firing range is up to 30 km, the weight of one projectile is about 50 kg, and the fragmentation is up to 500 m. In the affected area, there is no chance of survival for lightly armored vehicles, much less infantry," the journalist noted.

Due to the drone danger in the northern direction, it takes longer to disguise the gun. Russian fighters spend a minute and a half from the moment of deployment to the first shot.

The Hyacinth-B calculation hits not only the control points of the drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), but also the shelters of the militants.

"The manpower is mainly in dugouts in blocked crevices, so the damage is not fragmentation, but destruction of the target," said the commander of the artillery battalion of the 6th brigade of the South group of forces with the call sign Typhoon.
