In Russia, they named the amount of debt for the seizure of property

Bailiffs can seize property with a debt of 3 thousand rubles. This was announced on January 11 by Vladimir Gureev, Chairman of the Public Council of the Federal Migration Service of Russia.

"The current legislation on enforcement proceedings provides for the possibility of arresting the debtor's property already with a debt of more than 3 thousand rubles. Accordingly, foreclosure on property, as a general rule, is possible from this amount," RIA Novosti quoted Gureev as saying.

It is noted that this restriction does not apply to cases of arrest and foreclosure of the debtor's money.

Despite the arrest, the debtor has the right to repay the debt on a voluntary basis, and if the property was not sold as part of the enforcement proceedings, it will be returned to the debtor. In the opposite case, the debtor must also pay an enforcement fee of 12% of the amount to be collected.
