The Russian Ambassador to Venezuela reported communication failures at air defense stations during the US attack

During the US attack on Venezuela, communication failures occurred at air defense stations. This was stated on January 10 by Russian Ambassador to Venezuela Sergey Melik-Baghdasarov on the air of the Solovyov Live TV channel.

"The long—range detection stations turned out to be, in fact, cut off from the decision-making centers," Melik-Baghdasarov noted.

The ambassador added that at that time, moreover, a significant part of the personnel of the Venezuelan troops were on vacation, which is why combat readiness was reduced.

He also suggested that orders to repel attacks could have been given untimely.
