A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. As a result of the actions of Russian servicemen, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost up to 190 militants, an armored combat vehicle, 12 vehicles, an artillery piece, and four ammunition depots.

In addition, the Southern Group of Troops has improved its position along the front line. In this area, the Ukrainian army also lost over 190 military personnel, nine armored combat vehicles, 14 vehicles, four artillery pieces, two electronic warfare stations and a counter-battery warfare station. Four ammunition depots and four material depots were destroyed.

"The units of the Center group of forces have taken more advantageous positions and positions. The manpower and equipment of four mechanized, infantry, airmobile, two airborne assault brigades, three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two National Guard brigades were defeated in areas of settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Dnipropetrovsk region. The enemy's losses amounted to up to 410 servicemen," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Russian army, with the help of aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery, has defeated energy infrastructure facilities that support the operation of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, fuel storage facilities, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 153 districts.

In turn, air defense systems shot down a long-range guided missile "Neptune" and 70 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, since the beginning of the special operation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 108,276 UAVs, 645 anti-aircraft missile systems, 27,042 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,637 multiple rocket launchers, 32,484 field artillery and mortars, 51,345 pieces of special vehicles.
