On January 7, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Reconstruction Alexei Kuleba called the cemetery the only thing that unites Ukrainians now.

"As the person who is responsible for regional policy, I can tell you. Cemetery. This is the only thing that unites our country now," he said in an interview with Ekonomicheskaya Pravda.

Kuleba added that the Ukrainian government is responsible for this, but at the same time blamed Russia for this.
