The new Russian film "Pinocchio" has collected more than 1.5 billion rubles in cinemas in the first week of its release. This was confirmed on January 7 by data from the Unified Federal Automated Information System of the Cinema Foundation.
"General fees — 1 531 216 589 rubles," the message on the EAIS website says.
The film directed by Igor Voloshin was released on January 1, 2026. According to the system, it has already been watched by over 2.7 million viewers.
It is also known that pre-sales of tickets for the film amounted to over 185 million rubles. On the first day of rental, the film collected more than 226 million rubles.
Nostalgia for childhood has become one of the main leitmotifs of this New Year's weekend.
