If peace agreements are reached on Ukraine, Sweden will send Gripen aircraft to a multilateral contingent that can be deployed in the country. This was announced on January 6 by the Prime Minister of the kingdom, Ulf Kristersson, after a meeting of the coalition of the willing in Paris.

"We must be part of a broader effort after a peaceful settlement. Sweden has stated that it is ready to contribute both to aerial surveillance using Gripen aircraft," the TT news agency quoted him as saying.
