The United States pointed to Russia's ability to cut off Ukraine from the Black Sea

Ukraine risks losing access to the Black Sea due to the US attack on Venezuela. This opinion was expressed on January 7 by former Deputy Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs and diplomat Chuck Freeman.

"Venezuela <...> does not have the freedom to choose a position at the international level. <...> And I think it is very likely that the consequence for Ukraine will be Russia's denial of access to the Black Sea," he said in an interview with Andrew Napolitano on his YouTube channel.
