Air defense forces shot down 11 Ukrainian UAVs over Crimea, Black and Azov Seas

In four hours, air defense systems destroyed 11 Ukrainian UAVs over Crimea and the waters of the Black and Azov Seas. This was announced on January 6 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

On the night of January 5-6, the air defense forces destroyed 129 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Russia. According to the agency, the largest number — 29 UAVs — were shot down over the Bryansk region, 15 drones over the Belgorod region and 13 over the Yaroslavl region. Attacks by 10 drones over the Novgorod region and nine UAVs over the Smolensk region were also repelled.

In addition, seven UAVs were eliminated over the territories of the Kursk and Penza regions, six each over the Tver Region and Bashkiria. Five drones were destroyed over the Astrakhan and Rostov regions, and four over the Kaluga regions. Two UAVs were shot down over the Moscow region, the Orel and Leningrad regions. One drone was destroyed over the Voronezh, Kostroma, Tula, Tambov, Ryazan regions, as well as over the Republic of Crimea and Tatarstan.
