A criminal case has been opened after the explosion of household gas in an apartment building in Tver. This was reported in the press service of the regional department of the Investigative Committee (IC) for the region.

"As a result of careless handling of gas equipment installed in an apartment building located on Vinogradov Street in Tver, a pop of household gas occurred, which caused a fire in the premises of the apartment," the report says.

It is specified that the man who lived in this apartment died. A case of negligent homicide has been opened into his death.
