Three people died in an apartment fire in Podolsk, Moscow region.
In Podolsk, near Moscow, a fire broke out in an apartment building, as a result of which three people died. This was reported on January 6 in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
"There was a fire in one of the apartments in an apartment building on Moskovskaya Street. As a result of poisoning with gorenje products, two women and one man died," the Telegram channel says.
The ministry added that two more people were also injured and hospitalized as a result of the incident. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was an emergency operation of the electrical wiring.
In addition, a criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence to two or more persons").
The day before, a fire broke out in a private house in the village of Tyga, Amur region, killing four people. It was noted that the house was not equipped with autonomous smoke detectors.
