At least 14 people have died as a result of flooding in Indonesia's North Sulawesi. This was reported on January 6 by the Reuters news agency.

"At least 14 people have died as a result of flash flooding in the Indonesian state of North Sulawesi," the article says.

According to the newspaper, as a result of the incident, 18 people were injured, and four more are missing.

Authorities had to evacuate at least 444 residents to local schools and churches. In addition, excavators have been sent to the scene to clear roads blocked by debris and mud.
