The Russian Army destroyed up to four combat groups of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region. This was reported on January 6 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

It is specified that the command of the 80th Ukrainian brigade tried to transfer engineering units to strengthen the defense in the area of the village of Sadki, Sumy region.

"Up to four combat groups were destroyed by complex fire damage," RIA Novosti quoted the message as saying.
