Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke on the phone with seven-year-old Igor Stepanenko, whose dream was fulfilled as part of the "Wish Tree" campaign. This was announced on January 5 by the Kremlin's press service.

"The president helped make a first—grader's dream come true — Igor, along with his parents and brothers, visited the Museum of the World Ocean in Kaliningrad," the Kremlin's Telegram channel wrote.

The boy visited the scientific research vessel Vityaz and the submarine B-413, examined the legendary deep-sea apparatus Mir-1 and the largest osteological exhibit of the museum – the skeleton of a sperm whale. In addition, a three-day excursion program has been organized in Kaliningrad for Igor and his family.

Putin also wished the Stepanenko family a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas. During the telephone conversation, Igor told about his impressions and asked Putin about his childhood dream.

"I particularly liked the sperm whale's skeleton — it's very big. Well, in general, all the fossils are there, the ships," said the boy.
