On January 5, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban urged not to compare the events in Venezuela with the conduct of a special military operation in Ukraine. He stressed that these are two fundamentally different situations.

"I don't want to compare the Ukrainian conflict with the American-Venezuelan situation. Both situations have completely different political contexts and legal bases. Therefore, the comparison will not help us much," Orban said at a press conference in Budapest.

The Hungarian Prime Minister noted that the world "must accept every situation as it is."
