Zelensky appointed former Canadian Foreign Minister Freeland as his freelance adviser
On January 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had appointed former Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland as an adviser on economic development.
"Today I appointed Chrystia Freeland as an economic development advisor. Hristya is proficient in such matters and has significant experience in attracting investments and economic transformations," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, Ukraine now needs to increase its internal stability for the sake of "restoring Ukraine if diplomacy works as soon as possible."
