Legendary St. Petersburg ballerina Emma Minchenok passed away at the age of 93. This was announced on January 4 by ballet critic Olga Fedorchenko.

"Another sad news for the year 2026. Leningrad ballerina Emma Vladimirovna Minchenok died today at the age of 94," she said in a message on her Telegram channel.
