Pushilin announced the beginning of the fighting for Belitskoye in the DPR

Fighting for liberation began in the town of Belitskoye in the Pokrovsky district of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on January 4 by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

"We see the aspiration of our units in the direction of Dobropillya. We also see, and information is being received, that fighting is starting for Belitskoye," the head of the region said in a video posted on the Telegram channel.

The liberation of the city will open the way to many settlements.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on January 4 that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had liberated the village of Podoly in the Kharkiv region. The manpower and equipment of the mechanized, assault, and airmobile brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were also defeated in the areas of the settlements of Blagodatovka, Staroverovka, Hrushevka, and Nechvolodovka in the Kharkiv region.
