Details of the purchase of lottery tickets with multimillion-dollar winnings have become known.

Stoloto has revealed the details of the purchase of lucky tickets for the New Year's Billion draw-2026 from Russian Lotto. For the first time, the main prize of 1 billion rubles was shared by three participants at once — from the Sverdlovsk, Novosibirsk and Tyumen regions. A participant from the Lipetsk region won a prize of 100 million rubles.

The company stressed that the stories of ticket purchases, which gave our country four multimillionaires, confirm the main thing — anyone can win. "Neither the place nor the method of purchase affects the probability of winning in any way," said Varvara Basanovich, Stoloto's Chief Operating Officer for Marketing.

She reminded that each ticket can win with equal probability, while all winnings are random, it is impossible to influence the result. "Luck can smile on any participant who decides to try his chance. The main thing is participation, and how and where to buy a ticket is a matter of purely personal convenience," Basanovich stressed.

Two of the three winners of the New Year's Billion purchased their tickets in the Stoloto mobile application, specifying phone numbers registered in the Sverdlovsk and Novosibirsk regions. The biggest prize of 333,333,833 rubles is an additional 500 rubles won by the winner in subsequent rounds of the drawing. The winner of this prize was a participant from the Tyumen region. He purchased his ticket on December 27 at the Stoloto point in one of the shopping centers.

The winner of the 100 million prize from the Lipetsk region also purchased his ticket at one of the lottery sales points in Lipetsk. The ticket was part of a gift tube set of 15 tickets, Stoloto noted.
