The number of drones destroyed on approach to Moscow has grown to 24

The air defense system of the Ministry of Defense destroyed another drone flying to Moscow, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said on January 4.

"Another drone flying to Moscow was destroyed by the Defense Ministry's air defense system," Sobyanin wrote on the Max messenger.

He also clarified that specialists are working at the crash site of the UAV. Earlier, the mayor reported the destruction of 23 UAVs.

The drone can detect targets, being invulnerable to many air defense systems.

On the same day, it was reported that air defense systems destroyed 11 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions of Russia. It was clarified that eight drones were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region, two over the Kursk region and one over the Ryazan region.
