The British Ministry of Defense announced a joint strike with France against ISIS positions in Syria.

On January 3, Great Britain and France launched a joint strike against the positions of the Islamic State (IS, a terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation) located in Syria. This was reported on January 3 on the website of the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom with reference to the head of the Defense Department, John Healy.

"The aircraft of the Royal Air Force of Great Britain successfully attacked ISIS as part of a joint operation with France," the statement said.
