"In Caracas, after we assessed the damage caused by the criminal, terrorist attack on our people, on our homeland, on electrical installations, on the Bolivarian Revolution and on those who have nothing to do with it, look at the Bolivarian Revolution. This is an attack on Venezuela, on the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela," he stressed.
According to Rondon, he, together with local law enforcement and the armed forces, is ready for further developments in the region, as well as Washington's actions that may follow the attack.
"The armed forces, the police, the people are with me, I am ready for any situation, ready for any event that intends to go beyond those attacks," he said.
In addition, the minister called on residents of the country to calm down and noted that the Venezuelan people will cope with this incident. He pointed out that this is not the first time Venezuela has faced such conflicts, but the republic "has survived these hardships."
"Be calm, let no one fall into despair, let no one decide to make life easier for the invading enemy," he concluded.
