A New Year's Run with Christmas trees was held in the Moscow region
On January 2, the competition "New Year's Run with Christmas trees" was held in Dolgoprudny, Moscow region. During the event, the participants had to overcome a kilometer-long distance, while holding the Christmas tree tightly in their hands.
The race took place in Victory Central Park and Attra Land amusement Park. Low-mobility participants could also take part in it.
"We are a sports family, we have two more children sitting at home, waiting. They're adults, they probably don't want to run at this hour yet, but we just want to lose weight and take part in this wonderful race, because it's freezing cold, the weather is good, and the park is nearby," said Petr Nesterov, one of the participants in the race.
All the finishers received commemorative certificates, and the author of the most creative costume received a giant chocolate medal.
