US President Donald Trump has announced that he has passed a medical examination and successfully passed a cognitive abilities test for the third time. He announced this on January 2 on the Truth Social network.

"The White House doctors have just informed me that I have "perfect health" and that for the third time in a row I "passed perfectly" (that is, I answered 100% of the questions correctly) cognitive examination," Trump wrote.

He also stressed that he considers it necessary to oblige all candidates for the post of president or vice president of the United States to undergo a cognitive abilities test. According to him, a great country should not be run by "stupid or incompetent people."

On December 31, CNN drew attention to the appearance of new bruises on Trump's hands. It is noted that medical experts have not confirmed the concerns, pointing out that this is a common phenomenon for the elderly.

On January 1, Trump admitted that he takes a daily dose of aspirin higher than recommended by doctors for preventive blood thinning. He explained that this was his personal preventive measure.
