The main results of the development of the Moscow film cluster in 2025 were dozens of completed projects and millions of viewers who came to the screenings. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, noting that for the capital last year was a time of "great work on infrastructure so that the best films would be shot in Moscow."

In particular, the area of the Moskino Film Park has almost doubled over the year to 356 hectares. New large-scale locations have appeared there, including "Modern Moscow", "Provincial Cities of Europe", "Reichstag" and "Russian Medieval City". "In 2025, 100 projects were shot here, and more than 500,000 people visited the park," Sobyanin wrote on his Facebook channel.

The Moskino film Factory, which is a key site for high—tech film production, opened two new pavilions last year - a complex for filming with transport and a studio with Russia's largest LED screen with an area of more than 300 square meters. m.

According to Sobyanin, the modernization of the Gorky film studio continues, the total area of which will be increased to 100 thousand square meters. m. "A production pavilion complex, a costume and props center have already been built, and the Gorky Hall cinema hall with 300 seats has been renovated," the mayor noted, adding that the studio has more than two dozen projects in development.

In October last year, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina announced that during the work of the Moskino Film commission, 3,240 projects had been shot with her support. "Since the beginning of the year, the film commission has received three thousand applications. This is 30% more than in the same period of 2024," the vice mayor said, noting that representatives of the industry had agreed and helped organize more than 1.5 thousand shootings in the city.
