Air defense forces destroyed 168 Ukrainian UAVs over the territory of the Russian Federation

The Air Defense Forces have eliminated 168 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of Russia. This was announced on January 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced a day earlier that the air defense forces had eliminated 53 UAVs over Russian territory from 08:00 to 23:00. It was clarified that 40 UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Bryansk region, five drones were intercepted over the Voronezh region, two drones were destroyed over the Belgorod and Orel regions and one each over the territories of the Volgograd, Rostov, Tula and Yaroslavl regions.
