- Muscovites and guests of the capital celebrated the New Year with a race in Luzhniki
In Moscow, a New Year's race was held in Luzhniki, which was attended by residents of the city and guests of the capital, as well as even the youngest athletes. The participants of the event shared their impressions with Izvestia.
"There are so many things in Moscow that it is impossible to be inactive...> What kind of salads? We always do this every year, it's not like that. We just wanted something so sporty," the participant of the race commented on the event.
The race was accompanied by a support group in Santa Claus costumes, and the little participants of the race received medals on bright red ribbons in the color of the symbol of the year - a fiery horse. The event was held in a festive atmosphere and was a great way for Muscovites and tourists to celebrate the New Year "in sports."
Children from the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR) visited the Kremlin New Year tree in Moscow on December 27. It was clarified that the children watched the performance "Cherished Chimes", met with Santa Claus and received a sweet gift.
