Sergunina spoke about the initiatives of Muscovites in the City of Ideas project

In 2025, thanks to the City of Ideas platform, over 1,000 proposals from Muscovites in various fields were implemented in the capital. This was told by Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"There are 17 areas available on the platform today, combining 67 topics. You can share your opinion at any convenient time and from any device. For example, Muscovites are offering new formats for cultural and youth events, naming places where they would like to see modern recreation spaces, playgrounds and sports grounds," Sergunina said.

Most of the initiatives came within the framework of thematic projects. During one of them, 23.5 thousand people shared ideas on how to improve the work of the fish markets "Moscow — on the wave". The assortment, seasonal design, the introduction of new services and the content of social networks were discussed.

The participants of another project sent proposals to expand the program of the Moscow Manor Festival. More than 6 thousand users took part in the thematic project "Time to make a movie" dedicated to the Moskino Film Park.

Initiatives are also accepted in the "Suggest an idea" section. In 2025, new topics appeared in it, for example, the category "Pets", covering various aspects of creating a comfortable environment for animals. In addition, the youth section was reformatted. Now it consists of six blocks reflecting the key areas of the Moscow Youth project. These are "City of Heroes", "Development", "Career", "Creativity", "Friendship" and "Sport". They include a wide range of issues, from education and creative development to patriotic initiatives.

According to Sergunina, for almost 12 years of the platform's operation, more than 650 thousand residents of the capital have used its capabilities. During this time, 9.3 thousand proposals of citizens were implemented in the capital.
