Muscovites and guests of the capital were urged to refrain from launching firecrackers, fireworks and other pyrotechnics in rooms, near buildings and transport due to the increased number of cases of provocations involving its use, the press service of the capital's headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported.
"Residents and guests of the capital are not recommended to use pyrotechnics due to the increasing number of provocations involving its use. It is necessary to refrain from launching firecrackers, fireworks, rockets and other similar products indoors, from balconies and loggias, near residential buildings and outbuildings, at any transport infrastructure facilities," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.
