A new MRI machine was put into operation at an oncological dispensary near Moscow

A new MRI machine has been commissioned in the polyclinic department of the Moscow Regional Cancer Dispensary. The regional Ministry of Health announced this on Monday, December 29.

"Since the beginning of the year, nine magnetic resonance imaging machines have been launched in the Moscow region. One of them has been put into operation today at the Moscow Regional Oncological Dispensary," said Maxim Zabelin, Deputy Chairman of the regional government and Minister of Health.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the cost of the equipment amounted to 250 million rubles. It was acquired as part of the national project "Long and active life".

In November, it was reported that hospitals in the Moscow region had received 18 pieces of equipment necessary for vascular surgery. We are talking about intravascular imaging systems. More than 430 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget for the purchase of systems.
