A high-alert mode will be introduced in the Krasnoyarsk Territory during the New Year holidays. It will run from December 31 to January 11. This became known after a meeting of the regional government.

KrasnoyarskMedia news agency explains that this is an annual measure. The goal is to prevent emergencies related to the risks of violations in vital systems and fire safety. It provides for the strengthening of forces and means for rapid response in case of possible emergencies.

Earlier it was reported that on December 15, the national center "Russia" opened in Krasnoyarsk. This branch should become the main leisure and educational hub of the region.
