The indictment was approved in the criminal case on the rehabilitation of Nazism and fakes about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation against historian Tamara Eidelman (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation). This was announced on December 29 by the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office.

"To her (Eidelman. 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Rehabilitation of Nazism") and paragraph "d" of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public dissemination of deliberately false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation")," the prosecutor's office wrote in the Telegram channel.

It was established that in May 2024, Eidelman published on a public channel a video recording of the author's program with negative statements about the actions of the USSR during World War II, the days of military glory and memorable dates of Russia.

Then, in July 2024, she publicly disseminated deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces, the prosecutor's office added. It is noted that the criminal case will be considered by the court in the absence of the accused, who is wanted.

The 17-year-old author of the stuffing admitted to Izvestia that no one in the opposition media had checked his inventions.

A criminal case on the rehabilitation of Nazism against Eidelman was opened on January 4. Then she was accused of committing a crime under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Rehabilitation of Nazism using the Internet").

In addition, at the end of June 2024, the Moscow prosecutor's office opened a case against Eidelman under Part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Rehabilitation of Nazism committed by a group of persons, by prior agreement or using a network"). On October 31, a court in Moscow arrested Eidelman in absentia for rehabilitating Nazism and spreading fakes about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces.
