Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law to increase fines for transporting children in a car without a car seat or other restraints. The relevant document was published on December 29 on the official Internet portal of legal information.
According to the document, for individuals the fine will range from 3 to 5 thousand rubles, for officials the fine will range from 25 to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities — 100 to 200 thousand rubles.
Amendments were made to Part 3 of Article 12.23 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.
On December 26, the Ministry of Internal Affairs developed amendments to the rules for passing the driver's license exam. It was noted that they relate to medical certificates, reducing the time allowed before passing the practical law exam after passing the theory, and the timing of the repeated theoretical exam after the results are canceled.
