Carlsen commented on his defeat by Artemyev
Norwegian chess player Magnus Carlsen said on December 28 that he was ashamed after losing a game against Russian Vladislav Artemyev at the World Rapid Championship in Doha.
"I'm ashamed of playing with Artemyev. I had a lot of mistakes, rash moves, and I played poorly. But I have to give him credit — he followed his plan. And even at one point I realized that he was offering a draw, but I thought I could win," TASS quoted him as saying.
