The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has received for consideration a draft resolution on the dismissal of the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Vasyl Malyuk and Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko. This became known from a message on the website of the Ukrainian parliament.

At the 14th session, MP Alexander Dubinsky submitted to the Parliament draft resolutions on the dismissal of Vasyl Malyuk from the post of head of the SBU and Ruslan Kravchenko from the post of Prosecutor General, RIA Novosti news agency reports.

It is noted that the projects must be reviewed by the Rada committee within 30 days. At the same time, the reasons for the dismissals were not specified.

Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, First Deputy head of the Committee on Housing and Communal Services and Energy Alexei Kucherenko said on December 15 that the former head of Ukrenergo, Vladimir Kudritsky, had given himself a bonus of almost $1 million upon his dismissal. He also accused the former head of the energy company of embezzling a large sum amid a number of scandals, including those related to the construction of protective structures for energy facilities.
