The Russian Armed Forces successfully repel attacks by Ukrainian elite units in Kupyansk

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is sending reserves to Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, including elite units of the National Guard and the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, regardless of losses. This was announced on December 28 by military expert Andrei Marochko.

"According to incoming information, Kiev is throwing all possible reserves into Kupyansk, including elite units of the National Guard and the GUR of Ukraine. And this just speaks to the desperate attempts of the military and political leadership of Ukraine to regain control of the city, regardless of losses even in elite units," TASS quoted Marochko as saying.

The military expert added that despite the enemy's pressure, the Russian forces repel all attacks, and "the Ukrainian command throws all reserves into Kupyansk."

Earlier, on December 27, a company commander of the 1427th motorized Rifle regiment of the 6th Combined Arms Army with the call sign Uran said that the Russian military continued to destroy small gangs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kupyansk and to clear buildings and basements from scattered enemy groups.
