The Ukrainian Armed Forces left booby-trapped phones in the Zaporizhia region
The armed forces at Krajina (AFU), while retreating from the village of Kosovtsevo in the Zaporizhia region, left behind mined mobile phones there, which detonate if a person picks them up. This was announced on December 27 by the commander of a platoon of the Vostok group of forces with the call sign Samurai.
"As soon as a person picks up a phone, an explosion occurs, and limb separation is practically guaranteed. In such situations, phones should not be touched: we go around, pass information to the rear, which is mined here, and pass by," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
