Reconstruction of sewage treatment plants worth 2 billion rubles has been completed in Kurgan

A large-scale modernization of the Arbin water treatment facilities has been completed in Kurgan. The governor of the Kurgan region, Vadim Shumkov, announced this in his Telegram channel.

"The Rostechnadzor audit has been completed. The result is positive. On Monday, colleagues will receive all the necessary documents, and more than 300,000 residents of Kurgan and several settlements of Ketovsky and Yurgamysh districts will drink clean water," the head of the region said.

Arbin water treatment plants were reconstructed for the first time in 50 years. The total cost of the work amounted to about 2 billion rubles, writes the news agency " <url>".

Reconstruction of sewage treatment plants will start in Kurgan in 2026. It is planned to allocate 10.6 billion rubles for these purposes, of which 6.4 billion will be allocated by the federal budget, and the rest by the region.
