A contractor has been found in Kerch to develop a project to repair the embankment

The Kerch authorities have identified a contractor who will prepare a major renovation project for the embankment. The cost of the contract is almost 55 million rubles, said Mayor Oleg Katorgin.

"The issue of repairing the embankment has become a practical one. This is not the beginning of construction, but an important preparatory stage," the mayor wrote on his social networks.

The work on the facility must be completed by July 1, 2026, writes IA SevastopolMedia. Engineers and designers will study the coastline and existing structures to develop a technically sound reconstruction project.
