Only four car brands in Russia have completed 80% of the sales plan for 2025

In 2025, for the period from January to November, only four car brands had an annual sales plan of more than 80%. These are Haval with the City line-up (81%), Geely and Knewstar (92%), as well as Belgee (99%). Some of them will even exceed their plan by the end of the year, the former president of the Association of Russian Automobile Dealers (ROAD) said in his Telegram channel Oleg Moseev.

According to him, according to the results of 11 months, Lada fulfilled 66% of the annual sales plan (299 thousand out of 450 thousand units), Haval Pro with the Pro line — 69% (27.5 thousand out of 40 thousand), Chegu/ Tenet — 70% (119 thousand out of 170 thousand), and Changan — 38%. (61.5 thousand out of 160 thousand).

Some manufacturers have already lowered their sales plan for 2026. According to Moseev, Lada has 370 thousand cars (-80 thousand units relative to 2025), Haval City - 140 thousand (-20 thousand units), Haval Pro — 35 thousand (-5 thousand units), Chegu together with Tenet — 150 thousand (-20 thousand units compared to Chery for 2025), and Changan has 70 thousand (-90 thousand units).

Sales of new cars in Russia in 2026, if we summarize the plans of car companies, should amount to about 1.22 million units, Moseev said.

Earlier, on December 23, the head of Autostat, Sergey Tselikov, announced that 1.31–1.32 million new passenger cars would be sold in Russia by the end of 2025. The decrease compared to 2024, when 1.57 million new cars were sold, will be 16%.
